Forts have been around for many years. From ancient times with spears and swords to cannons and muskets. There are many famous forts like Alamo or Fort Independence. They have change so much. They used to have knights on horses and now we have helicopters.
The first forts were Castles and Towers. When gunpowder was introduced to the world, they started to change. They had a lower structure and had better weapons. They now mostly ran on gunpowder. Forts have changed it's almost certain we will be fighting laser guns in the future.
